Moonlight and Magnolias is a comedy about what happened when the epic movie Gone with the Wind stopped production so that the script could be re-written. This farce includes real-life characters including Ben Hecht, a Jewish activist and noted screenwriter.
Join us as we learn about Ben Hecht and Tennessee Repertory Theatre’s production of Moonlight and Magnolias. We’ll hear from Tennessee Rep Producing Artistic Director René Copeland, and actors will perform excerpts. Afterwards, we’ll adjourn to the Social Hall for a dessert reception.
Produced in association with TPAC Education.
